WEATHER ADVISORY & VEHICLE SAFETY GUIDELINES


As per the latest updates from the UAE National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), unstable weather conditions including heavy rainfall and potential waterlogging, are expected across parts of the UAE.

To ensure your safety and protect your subscribed vehicle, we kindly request you to follow the guidelines below:


Driving Advisory

  • Avoid driving through flooded or waterlogged roads at all times.
  • Do not attempt to start or drive a vehicle that has been partially or fully submerged in rainwater, as this may cause serious engine damage.
  • Please note that damage caused due to driving through flooded areas is not covered under insurance.


Parking Guidelines

Based on previous experiences during heavy rainfall, we strongly recommend:

  • Parking your vehicle in elevated areas wherever possible.
  • Using covered or designated parking facilities.
  • Avoiding basement or low-lying parking areas, as these are prone to water accumulation.


These precautions help minimise the risk of damage during adverse weather conditions.


In Case of Vehicle Submersion

  • Please obtain a police report confirming that the vehicle was submerged while parked.
  • Once the report is obtained, inform the SUBSCRIBE ME team immediately.
  • Our team will assess the situation and assist with vehicle recovery and next steps, where applicable.

Please note that in cases of natural calamities or where no third-party involvement is identified, insurance excess charges may apply.


Important Insurance Notice



As per insurance policy terms:

  • Driving through flooded roads or attempting to restart a submerged vehicle is considered vehicle misuse.
  • Such cases are not covered by insurance, and customers will be liable for repair costs.
  • Replacement vehicles will not be provided in these instances.
